I'm Disha Sania, currently in my 9th semester of BALLB at South Calcutta Law College which is
affiliated to Calcutta University. Living with my father since my mother's passing in 2021, I had to take
the responsibility of managing everything on my own. Despite facing challenges, I remain committed to
my studies.
I love to cherish the few friends I have; they mean a lot to me, and I enjoy spending time with them.
Meeting new people for the first time makes me a bit uneasy, but once I start feeling comfortable, they
often become my friends. It takes me a little time to open up. I can't justify whether it is good or bad. But
I feel that genuine connections are important to me.
I pride myself on my sincerity in academics and strive to approach my studies and other tasks with
discipline. An enthusiasm to learn new things has become a notable strength of mine. However, one of
my weaknesses lies in my tendency to complete tasks slowly. I invest time to ensure that the outcome is
as perfect as possible, which can sometimes be a hindrance.
From my very first semester to the current seventh semester, my passion for studying has encompassed all
subjects. However, among the array of courses, some have truly captured my heart. Constitutional Law,
Family Law, IPC, Cr.PC, and Law of Evidence stand out as my favorites.
Looking ahead, my ambition is to become a law officer. Beyond academics, I find joy in various hobbies,
including cooking, painting, travelling and spending time alone to find myself who am I. Writing is
another passion of mine. I value cleanliness and order, reflected in my preference for keeping my house
and room neat.
The passing of my mother has shaped my journey, and through these experiences, I've cultivated
resilience and independence. Balancing my strengths and weaknesses, I continue to navigate my
academic and personal life with determination.
