My name is Shreyash Gupta, and I am a law student pursuing a
career in academics at Bhimrao Ambedkar University Lucknow. When I talk about myself, I usually trace my roots as the sole
reason for whatever I have achieved in my 21 years, not much at all, yet something
worth looking back on when I have actually achieved something in future years to
come. I have been interested in law since I was in school.
When I extensively
researched the details of the options, I realized that joining the LLB (Hons) course
would be more beneficial as the course covers all aspects of law and law graduates
can easily complete all the potential areas of exploration that excite their interest. I
describe myself as a tenacious, determined, passionate, committed, and analytical
attorney with extensive experience in legal writing and research.
Additionally, my
status as a first-generation attorney has greatly shaped my unique perspective and
desires. I understand what it feels like to not have a chance and I will try my best
when I get the chance. I take great pride in persistence, hard work, and empathy.
For this reason, I am fascinated by studying law and its diversity as a tool to shape
my unique perspective on life. In the near future I would like to work as a judge.
The legal profession requires great effort and sharpness in handling situations and
handling cases. The importance of justice in our country cannot be ignored. There
is always a need for people who have a deep understanding of the legal system and
are willing to stay true to themselves. As a human being, I have always had a
question what can I give to society and this is my small step towards my goal.
