Fake News And It's Impact On Public Opinion

"Sometimes the grass is greener on the other side because it's fake."
Our democracy depends on a free and independent press. When politicians call reporting they don't like "fake news', they undermine trust in our civic organizations for their own political gain as said by Tina Smith. We must have often experienced that now a no single statement which is baseless, which has clue, no logic, no fact behind it and just because it is driven by a very well known journalist ar influencer or any news channel it throws a very huge impact on the surroundings and public opinion.

Lots of things read online especially in our social feeds may appear to be true, often is not.False news is information, stories or hoaxes created to deliberately misinform or deceive readers. Mostly, these stories are created to either influence people's views, push a political agenda or cause confusion and can often be a profitable business for online publishers. False news can scam people by looking like trusted websites or using similar names and web addresses to reputable news organisations.
