• Automated Case Registration: AI can streamline the creation of case files by automatically processing reports. This eliminates the need for manual data entry, which reduces the risk of human error and frees up time for other tasks.
   
• Natural Language Processing (NLP): AI-based natural language processing (NLP) makes it easier to sign up for cases. It can automatically find important details in complaints and reports, such as names, dates, places, and descriptions of what happened. This helps speed up the process of registering cases.
   
• Chatbots and Voice Recognition: AI-driven chatbots can be employed to guide individuals through the case registration process, answering queries, providing information, and assisting in accurate form completion. AI-powered FIR registration can streamline the process by leveraging voice recognition systems to guide complainants in accurately and completely registering FIRs, minimizing human error.
   
• Prediction and Fraud Detection: AI tools can help us look at reports coming in and find patterns that might mean fraud or fake claims. This helps us put the real cases at the top of the list and stop people from using the system in the wrong way.

This helps make sure that the information is correct and doesn't get repeated. This way, it is easier to keep track of the information and avoid confusion.
   
• Case Prioritization and Assignment: AI can help police departments work more efficiently. It can look at all the cases they have and pick out the ones that need the most attention. It can also suggest which officers or teams should be assigned to each case based on what they're good at, how busy they are, and how close they are to the crime scene.

Systems handling sensitive information can be misused to access, disclose, or exploit personal data, violating privacy and eroding public trust. Even insiders can exploit AI tools to manipulate case priorities or outcomes for their own benefit.
