Judiciary As A Career
In Todays Time we are facing a huge problem of unemployment and we are looking for job opportunities, as the population is increasing on the other hand crime rates as well increasing, As a part of this society how can we contribute how can we tackle these kinds of issues. One is let us be responsible and good citizens first of all as charity starts from home Second, we also have to look at ourselves including our family which is also our responsibility.

So looking forward Let us examine ourselves and know about our likes and field of interest, our passion Some are good at drawing, some are good at studying some like to teach, some are kin for adventure and fitness freak.

For them, their respective career options would be an artist or fashion designer or to crack competitive exams like UPSC, MPSC, etc be a teacher or physical trainer and some may join Army or any defense service, etc In this video, I am going to talk about a law-related career which is the judiciary Any law Graduate can apply for this examination it is state wise

Now let us first understand our Indian legal system The Apex court Supreme Court of India then Every state has its High Courts and then Subordinate Court The Indian legal system includes a range of specialized courts and tribunals, including family courts, labor courts, consumer courts, and tax courts. The Indian legal system also provides for the right to a fair trial, and individuals accused of a crime are entitled to legal representation. Overall, the Indian legal system is designed to ensure that the rule of law is upheld, that justice is served, and that the rights of individuals are protected.

Why you should choose judiciary as a career?
The very first point is There is a shortage of judges to decide cases, so there is a need to fill the seats which are vacant Irrespective like UPSC it has a vast subject to cover but in Judiciary your sources and materials are limited which is quite easy from UPSC Job security: A career in the judiciary provides job security, as judges and other legal professionals are appointed to their positions and enjoy a high level of job protection.

Competitive salary:
Judges and other legal professionals in the judiciary are typically well-compensated, with competitive salaries and other benefits.

Now moving forward How can you give this examination Firstly you have to choose or target a state Because this exam is conducted statewise So for better preparation set a target or goal which state you want to appear for then Majorly it depends upon the language of the state and the local laws of the states So for example Maharashtra state JMFC Judicial Magistrate First Class

The eligibility criteria is you should be a law graduate Not a single KT or failing in any subject thorough out your academic Not less than 25 yrs of age and not more then 29yrs Passing in first attempt with 55% aggregate Must know Marathi should understand and speak fluently get the certificate for language because there is a translation comes in which you have to translate from English to Marathi and Marathi to English.

Syllabus for JMFC is Paper-I Civil Procedure Code 3 Transfer of Property Act Specific Relief Act Law of Contracts, Sale of Goods Act & Partnership Act Paper- II Indian Penal Code Evidence Act Code of Criminal Procedure 1955 (Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes [Prevention of Atrocities] Act-1989 And Protection of Civil Rights Act - 1955) Essay On Current Legal Topic) [Approximately 800 Words] The Interview for 50 marks At the end You see where is your interest what you like and dislike For litigators, this career is also a good option and less hassle than UPSC
