It’s just because you may have forgotten attaching a PCC. It’s the police clearance certificate. The foreign immigration authority would never permit your entry without it.

So, always ask to yourself while collecting all attachments of your visa application-Have you attached a PCC with your visa application?

No PCC Means No Visa:
If we look at the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) data, it receives approximately 6 million applications annually. India’s share is about 65,000 H-1B visa applications for the FY 2019. Hundreds of aspirants and employers file this visa petition every year. And, the lottery system decides their fate. Thereby, only a few manage to bring the luck on their side.

You should hurry up if you’re willing to get it. The USCIS has already received 20,000 H-1B visa petitions for advanced degree exemption. And, the authority will receive more petitions in the upcoming months. The recent update has made it a bit difficult to pass through the visa-processing. If the US visa authority won’t get petition of the ‘related entity’ from the parent company, affiliate and a subsidiary, it would reject that one. Those multiple entries symbolize a legitimate business need.

Let’s say, if you’re a related entity, you would be the petitioner. You can file petition from the company, its affiliate or, even, its subsidiary company. Your ordeal would not end here. Your luck would make heads and tails because of the lottery mechanism.

Suppose you got lucky. Even though you won the lottery, the visa authority shows you the door. It would happen if you don’t have the Police Clearance Certificate to support your visa application. You can’t qualify to work across the boundary then. The immigration authority wants a proof that you’re not a criminal.

Verbal statement won’t work here. You must have an authentic proof to showcase your good conduct.

PCC Fair:

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has nearly 2.6 million Indians. It has requested the Indian government to issue this police verification certificate. The passport authority in Trichy has a flood of a request for this certificate, as per TOI. The regional government held a PCC fair on March 31, 2018. The PCC applicants of Ariyalur, Trichy, Thanjavur, Karur, Nagapattinam, Perambalur, Tiruvarur and Karaikal immediately got entertained.

Earlier, they had to wait for 13working days with the same request. The PSK (Passport Sewa Kendra) and Post Office Passport Sewa Kendra issue it on appointment.

Get these Documents for the PCC at PSK:
If you have received an opportunity to settle abroad, you should get this police verification. At PSK, you should visit with these documents:
·Self-attested photocopy of the old passport & its original.
·Proof of present address
·Self-attested photocopy of employment contract with the foreign employee (for skilled and semi-skilled workers).
·Dully attested employment contract from the foreign employer (by the Indian Mission or Permission Letter from the concerned Indian Mission/Post)(for unskilled workers)
·Photocopy of the original employment contract, demand letter and power of attorney attested by the Recruitment Agent (for skilled and semi-skilled workers)
·Sponsorship declaration from the sponsor (if emigrant is sponsored)
·Sponsorship declaration from the person who is getting it.
·Photocopy of the valid visa
·Transcript of the visa (if it is not in English)

From where can foreigners get it in India?
If you’re born abroad and your father and forefather are not Indians, you would be a foreigner. But the global regulations of immigration in a few countries mandate to present it. It happens to the foreigners who have worked here, but now, are re-settling in another foreign country.

For example, you’re a citizen of Poland. You worked 5 months in India. Subsequently, your job-posting took you to UAE for 6 months. Then, the company placed you in the USA. In this case, you have to submit the PCC for a visa in the resident country if you want to work there. You would need to withdraw it from all countries wherein you worked previously. Otherwise, your immigration request would be rejected.
